Everyone who loves the Bible should take this course.

Fr. Pat Mullen has a very conversational delivery style that is especially good for listening to his course. I like the way he explains the topics in terms of the cultural reality of the time and place in the Bible, and makes things that seem rather strange more understandable. Everyone who loves the Bible should take this course.

  2. Jack R

Fr. Mullen’s course was very interesting

Fr. Mullen’s course was very interesting with richness from his scripture background and Ph.D. work on cultural anthropology of Jesus’ time.

  3. Frieda

    Great Aswers to Difficult Questions

Fr Mullen has a lively voice and delivery that keeps your interest. His explanations of the cultural backgrounds of attitudes toward women and slavery are very helpful and convincing. I appreciate how he clears Mary Magdalene’s reputation. Anyone who has questions about difficult passages in the Bible should listen to these lectures to be enlightened.

  4. Tom

    A lively speaker

Father Pat is a lively speaker. He is not long winded. Some of the other courses I’ve purchased had dull speakers. The speaker on a CD has to be lively to keep our attention.

  5. Ann-Joyce

    Important questions

It discusses important questions that have surprising interpretations, such as St. Paul’s references to women.

  6. Deacon Memo R., CA

    Winter Survey: January 2017

A must-have for people seriously interested in difficult Bible passages.

  7. Linda C., PA

    Winter Survey: January 2017

I’ve been looking for a course that accurately explains problematic verses in the Bible. Father Mullen does it wonderfully, I can’t wait for my next bible study.
